Pizza Dough
Ingredints:
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water (100° to 110°)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more to coat bowl
Method:
Combine yeast with warm water; let stand 5 to 10 minutes, or until foamy. Stir well.
Combine flour and salt in a food processor. Add yeast mixture and olive oil, and process just until dough comes together.
Turn out onto a lightly floured surface, knead for 1 minute, and shape into a ball.
Place in a well-oiled bowl, turn to coat with oil, and cover loosely with plastic wrap. Leave in a warm place until dough has doubled in bulk, 45 to 60 minutes.
Hiya,
I use my Cuisinart Food processor to make Douh and it turns out great!! I have also used a Kitchen Aid mixer with good results...
As for the dough recipe..I use one from Wolfgang Pucks Pizza Recipe book..which is packed away in storage with all my furniture....I can get you the recipe once I unpack...its a great recipe..worth the wait probably..or you can google it online...
Thanx .. That kitchen aid machine is like very expencive here ... Its like 600 bucks ... . Any ways thanx a lot for the recipe .. Its nice
Yafraz,
you should check around...because I got my Kitchen Aid mixer brand new from Target for under a $100. So just shop around you might not get the latest model but you can find the mixer for less the $600.
Breadmakers can make pretty good dough too.
We always make ours in there and then pop it in the oven.
And Breadmakers aren't that expensive. You can probably get a
pretty decent one under $90.
