Re: dough art technique???

hi fazeelat,
I hope this helps u
Italian dough:1/2 cup corn flour, 1/2 cup white glue (it should become transparent on drying), 2 tbsp water, 1/2 tsp glycerine, 1/2 tsp lemon juice.
in an aluminium vessel mix in water n glue then lemon juice n glycerine .always use a wooden spoon only . now add 1tbsp at a time of cornflour to the mix . when the mixture is smooth heat it with continous stirring . when the mixture leaves the sides it is ready to use .to check it test it with ur finger it shouldnt tick to ur finger . now grease a polythene bag with vaseline or nivea then place ur dough in it cool it n keep it air tight
to add colour use oil paint tubes.
also remember that anything u prepare from this dough will reduce in size a little bit
for the french dough 1 cup ceramic pdr.+1/2-3/4 cup white glue +2tbsp baby oil .make a dough no need to cook . also its readyly available in craft stores .this recipe is a compromise if compared to the ready made 's quality.
i would be more than happy to help u further more
