Doubt

How much % doubt, 0 to 100, is healthy in faith?

Re: Doubt

1? 5? 10? 15?

Re: Doubt

22K gold is the strongest. Has about 8-9% impurity as compared to 24K.

Re: Doubt

Experts can correct me if I am wrong…everyone can have doubt in their faith sometime, even Hazrat Omar RA used to say he had some days that he doubted his Faith!..a very staunch Sahabi and second Khalifa of the Muslim Ummah had doubts so who are we not to have doubts occasionally!

Re: Doubt

0%

doubts are signs of weakness in the faith and is one of the tools used by shaitaan to drive a person astray

Re: Doubt

Peace @Cheegum,

If I understood your question correctly then my answer is ‘there are many many verses in the Holy Qur’an and are many hadith’ from which a person can check his/her level of faith (Imaan).

For Example: When we read in 'The Opening Chapter (Fatiha): “Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek [1:6]”. Here we can ask ourselves by counter-questioning to check our level of faith (Imaan) that do we really worship Almighty Allah by fulfilling all HIS commandment? and when there is any calamity upon us, do we seek aid from Almighty Allah or not?

Answering to our counter-questions by ourselves, we’ll automatically know (can analyze) our level of faith (Imaan) how stronger is it.

Re: Doubt

Twice a month

Not having doubt is like a blind follower

Surely I have created signs for those who reflect , I think is a saying from the Quran ( which too is a sign)

Re: Doubt

I’d expect this doubt to be Umar RadiAllahu anhu having doubts about himself, not about the actual truth

So I think you are wrong to say that, although I have no idea what kind of texts you are implying/concluding from

There is a hadith I have heard where some Sahabis came to the Messenger of Allaah SallAllaahi Alaihi wa alihi wa sallam and said ‘we have thoughts that we can not speak’ and the Messenger of Allaah SallAllaahu Alaihi wa alihi wa sallam said that was a sign of faith. The understanding of the hadith is that hating them thoughts is a sign of faith
