as in sharing ur wedding day with someone else (besides the guy/gal ur marrying)?
ie. theres only minute chances where ur entire family can go overseas all at once, therefore ur parents think its best they go back to pak once as an entire fam, and get two of their children married at the one time.
ooh dont get me started on watta satta … ive got heaps on that.. i was gonna start a thread on that a few months ago, but then decided its too much effort explaining what it all meant
suroor :k: i dunno if i wanna be the centre of attention, but id like to enjoy my bros/sis wedding and let them be the centre of attention
well I dont think I would want it. Its only two of us left , me and bro, sister just got married..but being center of attention is not an issue for me, its just I wanna have fun at my brothers wedding, I have so much Aarmann, (typical pra dey shadi waley) so IF I and him get married at the same time, how will I be able to fulfill them. I mean m not gonna step down the stage in lehngha to paa some pangra on his wedding
so the only thing I have trouble is not being able to enjoy his wedding
even though my bro is younger, i see him getting married before me. And i have so many khwaishiein and u know all these plans on how his wedding is gonna be like, and what im gonna wear :halo: he wants us married on the same day, but naaa
i dont thinki hav a heart big enough to share my WEDDING DAY !!! .. suroor is right.. its MY day .. and I want to b the centre of ATTENTION … n i dont want any one else to look prettier then i do :Pretty: … he he … well in other words i dont want to b compared to some one else like wut usually people do … ‘*Is ka jora acha lag ra hay.. likenwoh kitti khubsurat lag ree hay.. lagta hay kissi achay parlour say makeup karaya hay .. *’ etc etc .. u get the drift …

I had a double wedding. My bro had his walima and I had my reception. It saved us a lot of time and money because the same ppl would have been invited.
Oh I wouldn't mind as long as I'm getting married to the right person...:D infact, I've told my mom that she can combine my and my eldest's bro's wedding(if he doesn't mind that is)....:)

Why not both get married during one visit, but on seperate days. That way each can be center of attention and enjoy the others wedding.
Why does it have to be on the same day?, unless u want to save costs.
Personally I wouldnt mind at all whether its a double wedding or a dozen weddings going on.
I've been to one wedding where all 3 sisters got married at the same time. It looked a bit .... funny .... all three couples were lined up on stage looking very uncomfortable. People were comparing the outfits of the brides ... and I later discovered that there was tension and a bit of rivalry between the brides over the wedding outfits. Personally, I'm a bit selfish and would want the day strictly for me. :)
