I still think that you're joking. If not, next time (after my diet plan is over, ofcourse) I go to a poori halwa shop, Im gonna tell him to give me loochiyaan instead of poorian.
You have my words, however only a punjabi "Halwa poori faroosh" would understand that.
Any peshawar folks here. This guy made this flaky-ish naan that was really thick, and served it with fried eggs..sunny side up, but he added a bunch of hot green pepeprs sliced to it...soo good with chai
parathas are so zabardas:blush:t… only get them when I go home.. per nothing beats the old allo ka paratha, either with achaar or haree imlee ke chutnee or yogurt.. good old days..
haha what about pappay and chaye… and ohh what do u call that seewaiya type thingy, jo ramzaan main usually khayee jaatee hai wityh chaye.. pheviyan? I think… soooooooo yummylicious…
Yes during childhood I used to eat them almost daily! But now no longer. Although I cooked a lot of parathas for my room mates in London during 2004-2005 but never ate them myself!
MMMMMMMMMMM. I love parathas with chai. I make them every weekend for breakfast. My husband and I are addicted to them and one of my daughters loves them as well. I make them really nice and crunchy and I've become quite an expert at making parathas. Its one of the highlights of the weekend. Sometimes with fried eggs sometimes salan. MMMMMMMM.!!!
I doooooooooooooo…What a fabulous start one garam garam paratha and strong chai give to the weekend. Oh yes, in Karachi, sometimes, we would go to this road-side dhaba called CAFE PIYALA for its chai paratha…It was soooooooooooo damn good…
