What exactly other than pistachio’s and sugar is put into the milk? Is their like a recipe or something? Is it similar to Karha?

Milk in a glass! Not too difficult I suppose.
doodh pilai is just an extension of traditions culture...if ur doing it with the mithai on stage it symbolises the nur of allah and ur giving the groom food and drink from the girls house..as halls replace houses...
having said that we just open a carton of milk and pour straight into glass and serve as is....:)
and if ur thinking about when they serve milk at grooms house again it symbolises allah ka nur and a good start to life ,energy etc...
we again dont do any thing fancy straight outta carton...
but u could add pista badam if u like

people do lots of fancy stuff ,nice glass and u can make milk as delicious as u want to u can add almonds, pistachios, some people add khoya so its ur choice and off course if the groom is ok with that.
