My fingernails have run through gnarled tree trunks,
Whilst I danced in the rain.
The teardrop rain resting upon my hair.
Mountains shifting restlessly
and flowing rivers through my skin.
The ducts I have for eyes filled again.
Again.
As the wind sighing dearly,
Kissed me good day.
And the sun yawning deeply-fell asleep beyond the hills.
Teeth sharpened regularly drew blood
from my wounds.
My claws old and unpolished could not even cry.
The time has gone for me to roar and rave with the day.
The rainbow once bright has faded away…
The dream I kept sacred, and close, had shied away.
Unveiling of the new day bride is too long to wait.
Fingernails run through gnarled old tree trunks
and I carve shapeless faces in my
Jagged.Torn. heart.
Salty water washes up on the shores of my lips.
Stare deeper at the Ocean Red and you will see me
Perhaps.
Find me and loose
In an ever deepening forest of words.
