not right to blame army only, the civil service who have made much more than the army have done, these were the people whom we pay from our money, and they failed to make one good university or a hospital in the country… same goes to politicians… the combo of Army+Politicians+Civil Service have brought the country to this stage…

Right man, but you gotta accept that the army hasn’t really allowed the system to evolve. If there had been fair elections every 5 years from 1947, most corrupt politicians would have been filtered out, don’t you think.

And also, I’m not talking about the corruption alone. The army gets a lot of perks. Every year, land worth billions of rupees is given away to army officers when they retire. And the generals, the perks they receive is the height of wastefulness.
