Don't Miss Blessings of Important Occasions [Reminder Alert!]

Please do share if there is a rewarding act in reference to any specific day, date or occasion that is about to arrive. Even a minor act, if done at the right time (in accordance to sunnah), its reward increases many folds.

In respect to Today Friday:

Allah’s Messenger (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) said, **“Invoke many blessings on me on Friday for it is witnessed. The angels are present on it, and no one will invoke a blessing on me without his blessing being submitted to me till he stops.” I asked whether that applied also after his death, and he replied, “Allah has prohibited the Earth from consuming the bodies of the prophets; so Allah’s prophets are alive and given provision.” **

*Narrated by Abud Darda (Razi Allah Ta’lah Anhu); Ibn Majah transmitted it. Hadith No. 1366 of Mishkat al-Masabih.

DUROOD-E-WALI

ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADININ NABI YIL UMMI YI WA AALIHI WABAARIK WA SALLIM.

“O Allah! Send blessings on Muhammad, our chief the unlettered Apostle and his Family Thy favours and thy Salutations.”

Benefit: Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu), a close companion of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallim), has said that if a person recites this Durood eighty times on Friday (after evening prayers), then his sins equivalent to 80 years will be forgiven.

Surah Kahf

There is a lot of reward in reciting Surah Kahf either before the jumu’ah salaat or after it. Rasulullah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: "The person who recites Surah Kahf on Fridays, a nur will appear for him from below the arsh as high as the skies. This light will help him in the darkness of the day of resurrection . And all the sins which he may have committed from the last Friday till this Friday will be forgiven . " (Sharh Sifrus-Sa’aadah) The ulama have written that this Hadith refers to minor sins because major sins are not forgiven without making taubah.

Imam Shafi`i (Allah have mercy on him) said in his Umm,

It has reached us that whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Fridays will be protected from the Dajjal.[Shafi`i, al-Umm, 1.239]
