Well, that’s part of it. But a BIG part. Whenever you make dua’a to Allah, the most important thing is not how many times you’re going to read a certain dua’a but how sincere you are. You have really really really want something.
Also, look at the meaning of the dua’a:
“To Allah we belong, and to Him will we return – O Allah, reward me for my affliction and replace it for me with that which is better.”
That says a lot in itself if you’re going through a hard time. Look at the context in the story. Umm Salamah was going through a tough time. She read the dua’a and she was given something a lot better than she could have thought of!
