Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

I just have a question regarding reciting durood-e-Ibrahimi 100 000 times, I am thinking of doing so because i have some really big issues going on in my life at the moment…I just wanted to ask that is it okay to read durood for getting rid of troubles, fulfillment of desires, marriage and so forth obviously i also know that at the end of the day its Allahs wish to hear me out but i just wanted to know that can durood be recited for such purooses or are there any other zikrs that one can tell me that i should recite - I also wanted to know that since i have a really busy schedule i am a student and living alone so along with my studies i have to take care of the house chores as well is it okay if i recite the durood if i am not in a state of Wudoo at times and while traveling or at my collage in between class times inorder to reach my target number and reach my goal for sure?

Some people say that Ayat-E-Karima is also good and all but i have also heard that its a jalali wird (i don’t really know what that means) but i guess its just that one has to ask someone with authority for permission and read it…thats why i am not going for this one.

Please give me some more suggestions as to what i can read other then the durood (which is powerful and effective) 100 000 times to get rid of my troubles as soon as possible - I want to start off from Thursday which is Tomorrow.

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

I heard from scholars that any wird can be a jalali wird if you do it for wrong purpose. Its like doing self medication and taking Crestor to reduce headache for instance.

If you have not heard of that 1000 times durood wazifa from a learned scholar, dont do it.

What exactly is the issue? I know that for financial issues, Sura-e-Waqea is great wazeefa, for health Sura-e-Fateha, for relationship issues Sura-e-taghabun, so it really depends what you want to get and do a wazeefa accordingly.

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

Its not a wazifa - Its like reciting durood E Ibrahimi 100x1000 times...0r 125000 times...You know how people get together and read either ayat e karima or othher ayats on phattars/ date seeds etc ...but intend on doing this on my own for my problems.

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

That is what I am asking. What is the nature of your problem?

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

I don't know if this will help but you go:

Umm Salamah lost her husband Abu Salamah, who had returned to Allah swt. She was devastated. The Prophet (SAW) came to her and to console her, gave her this dua'a to read:

inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun. Allahumma ajirni fi musibati, wa akhlif li khayran minha

To Allah we belong, and to Him will we return – O Allah, reward me for my affliction and replace it for me with that which is better.

Umm Salamah would always think "who could be a better husband than Abu Salamah?" But she had faith and recited the dua'a.

Do you know what happened next? The Prophet (SAW) asked Umm Salamah for her hand in marriage!

SubhanAllah!! Now, who can be a better husband than the Prophet himself?!

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

So do you mean to say that it just takes faith? Well i have faith and i have hope as well...which is little but quite strong :). But just as she prayed i want to pray was well.

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

Well, that's part of it. But a BIG part. Whenever you make dua'a to Allah, the most important thing is not how many times you're going to read a certain dua'a but how sincere you are. You have really really really want something.

Also, look at the meaning of the dua'a:

"To Allah we belong, and to Him will we return – O Allah, reward me for my affliction and replace it for me with that which is better."

That says a lot in itself if you're going through a hard time. Look at the context in the story. Umm Salamah was going through a tough time. She read the dua'a and she was given something a lot better than she could have thought of!

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

If I was or am ever going through a troubled time, I recite Darood-e-Tanjina whenever I could.
I also read nafal each day for hajat like read 2 nafal with Zuhur, Asar or Isha prayers.
I also sometimes fast and ask Allah to accept my fast and ibadat and help in that particular matter

I used to do and have heard of reciting darood x number of times but I dont do that anymore. I would read as much as I can and whenever I can.

I am not sure about the wudhu part though.
I read Darood even if I am not with wudhu. I also recite duas while not in wudhu like Ayat-ul-Kursi or 4 Quls.

I have also heard that reading the same duas/surahs like a wazeefa can be jalali/heavy on a person.

As in another reply, some Surahs are suggested to be read for specific conditions/problems .... like Surah Mulk for Azab-e-Qabr, Surah Waqia for Financial problems etc
so may be you can search for a particular Surah for your problem

Sometimes we think that solution to a problem is only what we think is the solution but Allah knows best and
things may not be going the way we would like them to but may be that is the best way for things to be or happen if you know what I mean.

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

Oh yes, I missed that part - Thank you...i will InshAllah recite this dua.

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

I totally understand what you mean - But for that i don't want to just leave everything until it happens...I have faith in Allah and know that I am right and InshAllah Allah will hear my prayers soon.

I never heard of anyone saying that Durood can be jalali - maybe other surah, like Ayat-e-Karima. But my only confusion is that is Durood read if suppose a person wants to get his/her desires fulfilled, solutions for problems etc.

I don't want to sound ignorant here but i just want to ask for my satisfaction, that when you did all that you have stated above...did you get what you want?

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

Teel here is the thing if you do wazifah do it with a faith whatever will happen Inshallah it will happen in your best interest. And then make dua and do your wazifah.Somestimes you do wazifah you get your choice results and sometimes you don't but if you have faith then you will have faith and "itmenaan-e-qalb" that everything is happening for a reason, I did my job and ask ALLAH SWT for help and now ALLAH will help me and it will be better for me.

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

I am sorry I did not mean Durood can be Jalali but Surahs.

I did not get the result all the time when I did do all that. There are so many instances but sometimes things happen and sometimes they dont.
for instance I recited Durood x number of times in 3 days to get something done but it did not happen , after many months I had another chance for the same thing to happen and I fasted and recited durood and it happened.

When I lost my job, I started reading Surah -e- Waqia and I got a good job again.
There was a time when we were having many problems and everyday something would go wrong and we started reading Durood to ward off the bad time and things started to get better.
Allah is very Raheem, He listens to us even when we trun to Him only in our troubled times .... please do no think I am not pointing at you but sadly I am referring myself.

After reciting Durood or Quran, I always pray that if I have made any mistake in reciting, Allah forgive me and accept my ibadat and then ask for what I want and ask Him to make that thing good for me.
I also pray that He knows best and if the thing I want cannot good for me than give me sabr to bear it.

I hope you get all your problems resolved. Keep faith and keep praying.

Re: Don't Laugh! - HELP please!

Tb, Why have you put in your title Don't laugh?? Why would someone laugh at what U have asked? There are no evil people on this forum u know. Well I hope not anyway. But just so u know, Ur question is a very good one as I myself would want to know the answer. There is one thing I can help u with tho and that is that brother TLK's advice is very good, as I have also heard my father say the same thing and that is that u should not not read something too much without the guidance of a learned scholar. I myself read Darood Ibrahimi 100 times each day and Alhumdullilah it has helped me a alot. I hope all your problems get sorted. xx
