I have booked Ambreen for my wedding day however don’t know who I should pick for my walima. Jawaad Ashraf, Annie Shah anyone else? suggestions please! xx

I used Lubna Rafiq for my wedding day make-up and for the walima function I used Ambreen. Everybody could notice the difference. They were both good and managed to give me two very different looks. I didn't have a choice with walima makeup - as my sister in law made the final decision. But I much prefered Lubna's work. Lubna did warn me that Ambreens makeup application would be cakey and alot of layers of foundation - which it was, and for some reason Ambreen had gone a little crazy on the blush/bronzer so my cheek looked like it had been punched in some of the shots taken LOL! She also did not accentuate the eyeliner so it made my eyes appear smalller than they are!
So anyway looking back at the finished result and photos, I would highly recommend Lubna Rafiq. Her makeup was absolutely flawless! I decided against a makeup trial with her due to distance issues and so put down the deposit without even meeting her :/ She turned up at my hotel room, and I showed her an example of the makeup I wanted from my iphone and she recreated it beautifully. The eyes looked so good.

Hi thanks Posho. I have heard Ambreen is cakey as well however I have seen tonnes of her brides close up and she does tone it down on the day if you tell her. On the flip side unfortunately I have heard bad stuff about Lubna especially from my cousin so have decided not to consider her, also shes more expensive than Ambreen.
For my walima I'm looking for funky make-up not drag queen or anything but more use of glitter eyeshadows etc whearas I think Lubna is better at providing the natural look.
