Re: Don't JUDGE me!!!
I don't understand the whole 'don't judge me'.............who doesn't judge? Whether consciously or subconsciously everyone judges and if someone tells you differently.....................well then that is just a bunch of bull

Re: Don't JUDGE me!!!
^ A good literary example of this is from The Great Gatsby. The novel opens with the narrator talking all about how he's not judgemental and how open-minded he is, but the novel is full of his judgements about the East and West Eggers.
Re: Don't JUDGE me!!!
I agree with you Muzna, the moment we find some detail about an individual we form an opinion about them.
Re: Don't JUDGE me!!!
i think what people might mean is...*dont judge me as a person based on just this one thing. meaning try to understand instead of just using something against me to form an opinion. *
disclaimer: i have no opinion on the topic

that's a very good point!
perhaps people don't want you to take that one single point and make a decision about them based on it.
but then....who forms an opinion about someone based on a single aspect of their personality?
Re: Don't JUDGE me!!!
Muzna, I think I started an almost identical thread last year.
I don't understand this either. Our brains function. They make judgements constantly We decide what we like and dislike, etc. The problem comes when you are forcing your opinions on others or using those opinions to hurt others. Otherwise, I think we are all entitled to our judgements as they reflect the way we live life and see the world.
Can you give examples of the part that I've set in bold?
