Seems an elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman’s hearing to return to 100%.
The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, “Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again.”
To which the gentleman said, “Oh, I haven’t told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I’ve changed my will three times!”
In order to develop friendly relationship between Pakistan and India, Vajpayee and Nawaz Sharif decided to visit each other's country regularly.
The first visit was by Sharif to India .There Vajpayee showed him India's modern Telecommunication systems. It was so good that Sharif made a call to Rajiv Gandhi in hell and talked to him for 5 minutes! The bill for the call came to only Re.1.
When Sharif came back, he also wanted Pakistan's telecommunication systems
to be best when Vajpayee visited Pakistan. Suitable arrangements were made.
Vajpayee came to Pakistan, visited the telecom department and talked to Rajiv Gandhi in hell for 5 minutes. But this time , the bill was Rs.500!
Vajpayee asked with a sarcastic smile " Why are telephone call to so costly in Pakistan"?
A High level diplomat gave a smiling reply " From India to hell, it is a local, sir, while from Pakistan it is a long distance!" ;) :) :)
