Don't go to the cosmetic counters without me

Has anyone read this book or own it? this lady is amazing. i wish i had seen all her advise b4 wasting $$$. most of the products she rates :frowning: are blah. she does hav lots of products missing…may b latest edition hav them

oh u can go to cosmeticscop or beautypedia too for latest reviews on hundreds of beauty products

Re: Don't go to the cosmetic counters without me

Go to her website and do a search for the products you can't find in the book. Chances are, she's done a review on it at some point or the other.

Re: Don't go to the cosmetic counters without me

but its paid. free reviews r available only for limited products

I've owned a couple of Paula's books, including The Complete Beauty Bible (good) and DGTTCCWM (just okay), and find that (where DGTTCCWM is concerned) makeupalley dot com provides a more well-rounded and up-to-date perspective on a number of cosmetic/skincare/fragrance products. On the plus side, MUA is free.

Re: Don't go to the cosmetic counters without me

MUA to be honest has been very confusing for me and so far it has hardly helped me getting right products. there's a big diff b/w personal views n personal experience(half claim good, half claims bad) Paula's conclusions r more scientific n solid. One thing i found quite interesting that most products i myself found money waste she calls them bad too other i found good r good in her book also. (OK not 100%) but i'm really liking her way of reviewing products. i contacted my local library n all 23 copies r either out or on hold .
