In the beginning of our marriage we lived with his parents, and they were obviously analysing my behaviour towards their son (we were spending a lot of time together), so one day when he was at work they sat me down and started giving me a strange advice. They said “don’t be too chipkoo to him, if you’re chipkoo then he will run away from you”.

I strongly disagreed with what they said because it never happened, I stayed chipkoo and he never tried to go after some other girl. I still think if they were truly sincere in their advice?

happens in some families, no surprise. Parents just cant accept seeing their son being taken away by some one.
