Don't be a US puppet

Alleging that Pakistan was serving American interests, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan has warned the Zardari-led government that the country could face more problems if it did not alter its policies.

Talking to rediff.com from an undisclosed location, a TTP central spokesperson Azam Tariq said: “General Petraeus, US commander in Afghanistan, is dictating terms to Pakistan and the latter is acting upon them without any hesitation. Pakistan is serving American interests and has almost become a part of NATO. This would create further problems for the country.”

Azam further said, “The American-led forces in Afghanistan are under tremendous pressure due to the continuous attacks of Taliban**. Soon they will meet their fate in the form of a humiliating defeat**.”

The TTP believe that their network is so vast that they could now carry out attacks around the world and even inside US.

Taliban could attack all around the world whether it is US or some other European country. We have our men all over the world like we had Faisal Shahzad (Times Square bomber). We pay rich tribute to his effort and sacrifice for Islam," Azam added.
Warning media persons, Azam said: “Media should avoid impartiality while covering Taliban issues. Some reporters deliberately misreport events to create disturbance amongst the militants. We request them not to do so or we know how to deal with such people.
Meanwhile, the death toll due to floods in Pakistan has climbed to 1200. About two million people have been forced to leave their homes for safer places.
While sympathising with flood victims, especially in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province, Taliban suicide squad head Qari Hussain told rediff.com in a message: “These floods are the result of indulgence of people in un-Islamic activities. Vulgarity and obscenity are growing in the society. The floods are a wake-up call for the people to think about their acts. If they don’t change their ways of life, they should wait for another big disaster.”

Re: Don't be a US puppet

I think Pakistan is China's puppet ..

TTP came into being after, Pakistan Army joined War on Terror.

There should be no difference between Pakistan Taliban and Afghan Taliban.

If taliban is bad for Pakistan, why is Pakistan shoving taliban down the throats of Afghans.

Re: Don't be a US puppet

And India is Israel's puppet.

So you agree with TTP...lol.... India does not receive jewish money...its Pakistan that gets that aid.

India switched masters after Shri USSR went down, India now is in SHri US camp. BTW there isn't much difference between US and USraeil.

Another shagird of ZZH ...lol....India still is the biggest arms buyer of Russia, India pays for the guns it buys from Russia, US and Israel.

Pakistani Musharaf on his Indian visit came to India via China....So did Nawaz shareef, he went to US after Kargil

Ah! Another genius beat around the bush... Mushy went here and there through where, Ganja went blah blah blah and and the charity queen buys toys from banta and Santa. And your point is null.

:hehe: Seriously!

Re: Don't be a US puppet

Thats what he's taught at school.

the assumption that pakistan is promoting talibs in afghanistan is wrong. you only have to look at the sheer scale and the full spectrum of co-operation between pak (inc isi) with nato, US (cia) on the afghan front.

pakistan actually supplies more equipment then it is commonly acknowledged, and im sure you are aware of the transit of nearly all supplies through pakistan

current accusations on isi are not directly tabled at serving isi officials as such - because they share offices with cia. its more to do with isi's unwillingness to stop the covert (urban areas) and overt (north waziristan) support for the talibs coming from pakistan

so pakistan is not shoving taliban down the throat of northern alliance, a minority of pakistanis are!

the other major point is that pakistan is not willing to fight the north waziris because its the same people who are on the verge of victory against all the world powers combined! this is a major friction point because it indirectly strengthens the talibs. current arm twisting you are seeing relates to this possible operation

now if you could go back to br and stay there, that would be great. thank you. for complying with this request i wont be the one to tell the mujahadeen that india is holding onto islamic lands. hope the matter is clear for you

Re: Don't be a US puppet

^^^ One must not forget, Taliban has been "the strategic asset" for ISI and pak army since years in Afghanistan before 9/11. UAE, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were the first and only 3 countries to recognize Taliban rule in Kabul.....

CIA and ISI created the Afghan "Mujahideen" forces to fight against the Red Army....but Taliban was created in 1996 by ISI. ISI provided material and advisors to taliban, Taiban swept Afghanistan and eliminated all anti-Pakistan Afghans in Afghanistan ...like Ahmad Shah Masood, who fought against the Red army as well......

Pakistan has two policies. One is an official policy of promoting stability in Afghanistan;

the second is an unofficial policy of supporting jihadis in order to maintain the earlier strategic depth it had in Afghanistan. The second policy undermines the first one....

Supporting the Taliban also allows Pakistan to hedge its bets if the NATO coalition pull out of Afghanistan..
