Now this is disgusting. I was about to throw up when I saw this on ARY.

In the show, some ullama said the meat is halal some said it’s makruh and some said it is haram. That’s confusing.
My question is, is this meat haram or not ?

Donkey Meat is Makrooh in Fiqh-e-Jafri, However I personally have never eaten and probably will never eat Donkey meat. I will avoid it like a lot Sunni Brothers Avoid Kapooray.

Do Sunnis really avoid them? Some people probably eat them thinking their fertility rates will go up … “Kapoorey apna Karishma deka dey” … :hehe:

Does everyone know what they are?

And for the donkey topic … Na … donkey meat is still way more gross than goat testicles … but I guess as I mentioned before there must have been a time when they were allowed to be eaten …

I haven't read or heard that the donkey were ever allowed to be eaten, but only in case if the 'hunger (Faqa)' is more than 3 days and 3 nights and there is nothing else to eat and drink except the dead donkey (referred in various book as 'murdar gosht').
