50 people died on this day. Killers are still at large even after 3 years. These people died because of CJ, but he is quite on this issue, though 50 dogs died on that day. http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2010\05\13\story_13-5-2010_pg12_3 ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’ KARACHI: Political parties organised separate programmes on Wednesday in remembrance of the May 12, 2007 carnage, which resulted in deaths of more than 50 people, mostly political workers, as then deposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry arrived in Karachi during the lawyers’ movement for independence of judiciary.
^^ The one who are accused of these killing ( MQM) is the key Ally of People's party... why don't PPP ( i think most of the workers died that day were members of PPP) file a petition against it, why don't they form inquiry commission ( as they are in govt now) but wait... the leader of PPP was killed and his very own husband has dragging the issue, how come he'll bother to take action on these killings and that is against his very own ally... no way...
AS far as CJ is concerned, PPP consider him a joker and does not respect the SC.. so why the JIYALAS are asking him to get in this issue????
( Although the case was in Sindh High Court ( correct me if i am wrong))
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
^ There is no justice for people who died or property they lost on Dec 27. PPP can't ask for justice, simple.
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
The PPP government has still not been able to track down murders of their leader BB. We'd require government from another planet to track down the executers of May 12th carnage.
The terror organization MQM claims it is not them because their own party's men were murdered. But can we say for sure this fascist organization would abstain from killing their own party members just to prove a point?
Father of one of the victims said that they were not even given a copy of FIR for the murder of his son. IK went to UK to lodge a case with scotland yard for the investigation of his men who were killed on this date but not a sqeak from MQM over the murder of their party men even though their leader is the first to scream like an unchained, uncontrolled maniac during his 'khitabs' over little things.
I also believe that Pakistanis are over loading the judiciary, namely, CJ by over-expecting from them. It makes sense why because to Pakistani people CJ or judiciary seems to be their only hope for every single thing going wrong. But a question to ask ourselves is, how much can judiciary can do? No other government department is doing their own work. Everything is thrown on judiciary to take care of............
All of Pakistani institutions & all the Pakistani people need to take charge of their own issues & problems. They need to stand up for their rights & what they believe in. No one else is going to stand up for them if they prefer to sleep through the issues they face.
The people who control Pakistan have successfully made the saner ones leave. Those remaining back in the country are not smart enough to understand the complexities & challenges the country faces. Hence, they dont question much. And those who have left the country ofcourse have no idea what's going on back home to correct anything.
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
what are you smoking? Read the post and the news item. If CJ can abrogate NRO and hear 18 Amendement passed by majoirty, he should also act regarding 12th May carnage. Peple who died belonged to different parties not only one party. As usual mosts stupid and biased remarks against one party. Get a life man.
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
^^ Iam not jiyala, so i don't smoke, you should ask ur leadership nto first arrest the killers of Benazir and then talk, however, i know this is something you'll neveer understand
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
So what you do? inhale? same thing. The topic is regarding 12 May killings. So stick to topic.
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
^^ yes we are very much on topic.. i guess i need to remind you that PPP is still in govt and the people who was held responsible for the killing in PPP key ally... now tell me i am lying and this is not the case???
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
Hanibal they died for CJ, the second most powerful man in Pakistan now a days, morally he is bound to take there cases. Political parties has there weaknesses but CJ don’t has any such weakness.
Otherwise the relatives of those SHAHEED will feel betrayed, and they will never come out again in such a case.

Totally agree, CJ should take action against the parties who was involved in it, one of them was Mushy... but i don't like people who belong to political group which is busy in working against the SC and trying their level best to not to obey/respect direct orders from SC...
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
PPP has become a disgrace. And longrangefarid, if you're so concerned about the CJ not taking action, why doesnt your party officially file a complaint in the SC against the May 12th butchers then?
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
Looks like Your vulcan brain is over energized and perhaps short circuited. Needs a good repair. What the hack is lonerangefaird????You also need a eye exam. When news like Times Square failed bombing flashed, all Pakistanis including yourself become disgrace in the eyes of whole world.
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
NRO abrogated, government accepted this decision. CJ reversed high ranking officials promotions, government accepted. CJ has no right to hear 18 amendment as approved by assemblies and senate, government bowed down to this decision too. When Ministers and law secretary can summon by CJ, what in the hell are you talking about. Your prejudice eye can only see draw backs in the PPP government. It is a curse on country that people like you propagate biased and prejudice views and like minded applaud all your nonsense boosting your prejudiced views.

Jokes are not explained!!! and yes not only me but the Pakistanies ( ex-cluding Jiyalas) believe that Govt. has shown ill-intentions towards implementing the NRO decision.. do you think that half a dozen resignation is coming out for no reason...
but again, it is not something which you would understand.. it takes some gray matter in head to understand the notion... anyway, just two/three days back, Aitzaz Ahsan has said that Govt. has no choice but to follow SC's direction and decision.. this does give some indication that govt is actually not obeying what has been told by SC... please follow the news and not Statemetns of Baber Awan and Rehman Malik, Fouzia Wahab etc only
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
I have to agree that CJ should take some responsibility to re-examine the 12 May cases, he owes it to the people who sacrificed their lives to have him restored.
Re: ‘Don’t forget May 12 carnage’
Your vulcan mind is of 50s and 60s needs replacement. Young vulcan is much smarter than you.:) What in the hack is longrangefaridniden???? You are one confused person.:) I had never ishq with Zardari and will never have in future either.
