Ain’t that bit of contradiction You say it should/can be 50/50 but you have the upper-hand? Or are you saying its possible but in your relationship you are more dominant?

Exactly, it is totally possible and we essentially ARE 50/50 but he prefers me to have the last call and have the upper-hand, by choice. And I have no problem doing that since I was always the oldest of the siblings and the only girl so I have bossy tendencies, ahem. That being said, he is NO doormat or naive or lazy. He just likes the idea of his wife taking care of certain things and bossing him around (without being a mother) and deciding stuff, aaaaand I have no problem doing it.
