You can register a domain for a small regsiteration fee of around €10-15,-
Where do you live?
I can post a list of companies and providers who can register a domain name for you. If you tell me whats you location.
Re: Domain
in the simplest of words, a domain name is the unique name that identifies an Internet site - e.g. “gupshup.org”.
In order to reserve a domain name,
-
you gotta check its availability:
you can use the “WhoIs” service for this… e.g. try it here: ICANN Lookup -
you gotta choose an accredited domain name registrar (there are tons!)… full list here:
List of Accredited Registrars -
after you choose a registrar, you can use their website to register the domain name and pay them an annual fees typically around $15 a year which basically only holds a domain name for you. If you need additional services such as actually putting up a website to go along with your domain name, get an email address for it etc., then you’re gonna hafta pay more.
Hope this helps.
