Dolly ki ayegi baraat is one amazing drama. I totally loved it...it was sooooo funny.
Bushra ansari was soooooo good she was the usp of this drama...couldnot stop laughing through out her bits.....without bushra this drama would have been a normal love story...not in any bad way but bushra added the fun here...her blunt punjabi was toooo good..
rest of the cast acted well too
i remember it was sarwat gillani as sila in azar well i think ayesha was a good choice since her and hassan's pair looked better...sarwat luks better with imran abbass
moreover i really liked ali safina..he is very cute and good looking....just came to realise that he is a vj and does some progs aswell. his portrayal of mushtaq aka takka was excellent plus that heavy voice suited the character very well.
i just never imagined marina khan and nadeem baig to be the director (btw is it that filmstar nadeem)
hats off to marina, nadeem for directing it and hats off to vassay choudry and bushra ansari for the writing bit (i bet dialogues were by vassay and bushra too)
overall its a 10 on 10 drama...its a must watch. u wanna laugh watch DKAB.....
just came across this on youtube, eid get together of the dolly cast, really cute show. it think it became such a hit because it was finally such a pleasant change from the usual rona dhona dramas on air, really looking fwd to its sequel
According to Javed Sheikh's interview on the 'Reema Show', a movie based around DKAB is being planned. Don't know whether its a sequel or not but watch this space!
They should rather make another show like this...movie I don't think would be up to mark since our film quality isn't half as good as our dramas. They should just go ahead and make a show with similar essence a different story and all..
lol sheen i think its going to be same cast as
before.It will be possible to make since its well-known that Marina Khan has wanted to direct a film for a while and Bushra Ansari has turned down some incredible film roles in past. Its an added bonus to have Javed Sheikh as he has plenty of experience as actor and director.
Bushra Ansari was saying in one of the Moin Akhter passing away segments that she is filming for Dolly ki Ayegi Baraat. Sounds like either they are making another telefilm or a movie?? Hmm...
