This reminds me of a funny incident... so we had a desi daawat at our place, there were 2 boys and 2 girls with my daughter (all kids 4 & 5 yrs. old) .... they go upstairs to her room to play with her dollhouse.... after they left, we were tidying up her room and I noticed the dolls missing, I asked my daughter where the dolls were and she goes "mama, they're all dead"......turns out that since the boys had no cars or guns to play with, they started pretend-playing and killing the dolls one-by-one..... the daddy died, then the mommy died and then the babies died, they threw them all in a bin.... I was horrified.
ahahahahahahah!!

Re: Dolls
I have to take a picture of Noor's closet and post it.
When we moved into this house I customized her closet to get two levels and then I got clear plastic containers to store loose toys in. These bins are stackable and stay in the bottom of her closet, out of sight until she wants to play with them.
She has two toy boxes and baskets that hold stuffed toys and other random articles but her "collections" of barbie dolls and polly pocket dolls needed separate storage so that the items would not be lost. These went into the clear bins and into her closet.
Works pretty well and keeps clutter away.
NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! They are haraaaaaaaam!
