Dollarama

is such a god-send!

True other dollar stores have been around for years but these guys have just ploughed through the dollar market! Yes yes i know all those poor chinese people slaved away in sweatshops to make these cheap products.. but Walmart does it too and atleast im not paying $9.00 for the same thing in Walmart.

And their toys! They’re brilliant! I go in with 4 tots and hand them each their cart and an hour of glee and choosing and deliberations and 'Yes you can get that too’s later you have four carts full of goodies with a grand total of $30.25. Repeat once every week and you stay the most popular chachu / mamoo ever :yahoo:

Re: Dollarama

ha ha..i tried doing that with my neice and she goes to me:

"why do you take me to this store and buy me dollar dollar things and u buy expensive things for yourself? huh? hun?"

geez louise.

Re: Dollarama

Okay sure so it works for little kids only but its those first 10-12 years you spend wasting money on expensive toys which get ignored and broken two days after they're bought anyway. So theres the first ten years of savings for you atleast!

Re: Dollarama

the girl was 6.

i blame my mom - she spoils the kid. It's like she's the daughter she's always wanted.

:S aaj kal yeh naniyaan.

Re: Dollarama

mine is seven and I can sometimes get away with a trip to the dollar store.......not always......

but I do love the place for school supplies and inexpensive markers, poster boards, paints, stickers, etc.

Re: Dollarama

I never get away with buying toys from Dollarama.. :(

Re: Dollarama

^:cb: yeaaaa…it is soooooooo cheap..I buy a lot of stuff too :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Dollarama

best thing happend after sliced bread is dollaram....specially summer toys and school/office supplies.

I am happy to buy them 2-3 toys (sand toys, water guns and what not) every week during summer break!

They remain happy ...my wallet remain smiley!

Dollarama also works for us to buy "rewards" for kids for their little little kind acts. In fact we have almost 2 boxes of rewards stored in basement (off course hidden from kids) :)

Re: Dollarama

Great for loot bags for birthday parties too!!!
And all my gift-wrapping supplies, bags, ribbons etc come from there too.
