Doing your own makeup for wedding events

Re: Doing your own makeup for wedding events

^ you will have to ask them. i think some of them do makeup as a side gig too so it may be possible for them to come out to you. otherwise, just ask which artist will be working on the day of your event and get your trial from them and book them for your event date.

Re: Doing your own makeup for wedding events

I think I remember you saying you were from SoCal? Do you have any recommendations? I have like 5 mac counters near my house so I'd like to narrow it down if possible lol

Re: Doing your own makeup for wedding events

^ i personally used MAC in glendale/burbank for my events. had the same girl do my engagement and again my wedding/valima makeup because i liked it so much. my SILs used the MAC counter at nordstrom in spectrum, but didn't have the best results. i tried them once too and didn't like them. that's why i recommend you try a few different artists out and see what you like. i took big color pictures of the type of makeup i wanted for my wedding/valima and i think that helped out a lot.

if you want to skip mac counters, i've seen pics on fb from nida ghazi who does really nice brides and is located in OC i believe. not sure what her rates or availability are. where are you in SoCal?

Re: Doing your own makeup for wedding events

I'm in OC. I'm getting Nida Gazi for makeup for my wedding but didn't want to spend $400 on mehndi makeup when I want something very minimal. so was trying to go for a different person on the mehndi.
