Re: Doing something you swore to never do
How many of you have had to do something, because of circumstances, that you have always sworn never to do?
Do you not think sometims that life puts you in the exact situation you promised never to be in, and your helpless to do anything but go ahead and do what you always hated doing.
Like for e.g. when i saw religious couples a loooooooong time back i always promised that i would never be like that. The other day we were driving home. Him with his beard, and i on the way back from work and had a hijab on. And i thought…mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn, there was a day when i used to be the girl walking down the road, looking in thinking…that is not going to be me in my future life and here i am today!
I bet its a lesson from God
That’s nothing…
At one time, I used to think that praying 5 times a day was impossible and those that did pray were boorish people…That was during the worst times in my life…
And now? I think those that don’t pray are boorish…
