Doing business with close friends or family members in partnership?
What is your opinion? Suggestions?
Depends on the business, rules and partnership agreements you draw up as well as where the business is located. As long as both have the same goals and intentions and most of the issues are settled out before starting then it should be fine. It also depends on the relationship the two parties have each other.
This is very common in desi families. In our own family on my dad's side, we mashallah have a family business. I think its the best thing.
I have seen it go bad in certain families too, but most often that's because of the change in NIYAT of one or more of the people concerned, and them becoming greedy or dishonest. As long as people have good intentions, family business is the very very best thing.
