Folks, I need some help with this problemo. This doggie who is allowed to live on the premises of my house (not the area where my family lives) backyard and the guest house. Whenever he goes about his business, grass in that area just turns brown and dies. I am sick and tired of putting plugs in to replace these patches…what the hell kind of dog food is he eating that is causing this…All you dog lovers out there…help a brother out.

Usually this is a problem with the dog pee, particularly female dogs. There is not much you can do, other than fertilize the grass to make it stronger, or go out and water the grass to dilute it. Somebody will make a fortune if the develop dog spot resistant grass. Where are the dang Indian engineers when you need them?

OG, I might as well start working on something like that to take care of this killer pee....the dog belongs to my mother-in-law..so maybe I should be working on some other formula... arggggghhh

Kaleem I have that issue as well with Sheena the female Lab. I bought "green-Ums" from Pet Doctor online, they are safe (I ate a few myself just to see if I could pee any better without lifting my leg, guess what they worked Now I squat like an Israeli Squatter and pee all over, without worrying about burning Palestinian Holy Grass).
I would suggest buying them and feed them to the dog. One pill a day keeps the patch away.

There's a product called "Green-ums", sold by Drs Foster & Smith pet supply. Its little doggie cookies that you feed to the dog and the grass wont die anymore.

or put it in her (the dogs) feeding dish. The pill is OTC so I dont think she would object, take him for a spin in your truck. Tell MIL it's man/dog bonding hour from now on.

^^ No it was the pistachio shells. BTW OG did I tell you that Sheena ate my sons poopy diaper and then she pooped and the diaper got stuck in her butt, I had to literally pull it out of her arse.

My dog once got a female product, and the same thing happened. Dogs eyes bugged out like you have never seen when the vet retrieved it.....

Actually once it was a chicken bone, and the dang vet was up to her elbow. The other time it was some sanitary thingy.....
