I personally dont like the idea of doggie bags. If your at a dawat eat as much as you want. I find it rude if someone asks to pack their food away. Ok if some uncle/aunty that you invited was unable to attend the dawat yeah then you pack and send some food for them by their spouse. I have a cousin who always asks for leftover so she doesn't have to cook.
My mother spends the whole day in the kitchen preparing for the dawat and at the end of the day shes unable to eat her own delicious food. My phopho only makes just enough to feed the guest sometimes she even makes less (Thats not too good either if you've invited some guests then you should feed them properly as well).
