If the mans has moronic political opinions that have nothing to do with islam, that he spills in the mosque, i have all the right to call him that and give em the finger or whatever i want. he isn’t god you know. it doesn’t matter who i pray behind, since i am not praying to please anyone, but Allah. Allah sees all, and knows all, etc.

you are putting words in my mouth dude. I didn’t call him God nor did I ask you to agree everything that he says. you have rights to do whatever you want. no denying that. all I said was that, if you call someone an idiot, accepting him as an Imam and praying behind him maybe percieved as double standards. If I don’t have respect for someone, I wouldn’t pray behind him. if you are satisfied with your prayers in doing so then thats all that matters.
