Is it true that your upbringing and background helps you in making future decisions for your children? Of course it does but does it help you negatively or positively? Like how do you find balance in making decisions, you don’t wanna be too agressive but you don’t wanna be too lenient.

Re: Does your background help
pata nahi UZ yaar i am not at stage of having children. I think some desis emphasise on saving so they teach their children not to spend and be more kanjoos in their approach. Upbringing can make you spend on what is considered the right type of thing like school stuff, studies, hobbies and sports rather than faltu things. It depends what the parents emphasise for their children.

Re: Does your background help
Yes, it does.
Background/upbringing does influence what people try to impose on their children.
But as it is a universal phenomenon, children do also pick up their identity based on their environment…just like their own parents did when they were growing up.
Re: Does your background help
Yes, since children are always around their parents, they will most likely pick up after their parents.
Thankfully I’m an exception.
