A christian friend of mine who came from sudan told me that Islam associaties all the good things with whitness. I objected to that and said Islam promotes equality and all the people are equal to God irrespective of cast, color and creed. The Best example is Haj where people from all races come together and I also mentioned the tradition of Prophet(P.B.U.H) when he said that no white man is superior to black and no black man is superior to White. To my surprise he pulled out a verse of Koran
“On the day when some faces will be whitened and some faces will be blackened, say to those whose faces will be blackened, ‘Did ye reject faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting faith.’ But those whose faces will be whitened, they will be in God’s mercy: therein to dwell.” (Sura Al-i-Imran, 3:106-107)
Is there a verse in Koran which explicitly mentions the equality of people irrespetive of color and creed. I am sure the “blackness” in this context is meant metaphorically and was not intened something as physical. I think that would help me answer his questions that why white is equated with goodness and black equated with evil?
after seeing what happening in dafur it is myth that islam will bring all races together. even one ethinic group like kurds cant be integrated
let alone different racial groups.

Ever heard of Malcolm X, know what happened after he performed Hajj.
All I need to know if there is a verse which negates the concept of black and white and speaks of equality

Rather, is there any verse that says black and white are not equal? You haven't shown one... your earlier post is clarified by verse 16:58... but
"(Iblis) said: 'I am better than he: thou created me from fire, and him thou created from clay.'" (Qur'an 38:76)
^This is racism on the part of Iblis, claiming superiority over Adam on the basis of his origin to which God replied
"Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed." (Qur'an 38:77)
Also...
"O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames..." (Qur'an 49:11)
"O you men! surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other; surely the most honourable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty - has the greatest taqwa)..." (Qur'an 49:13)
