Long time 'gain no see. But hey here’s one for today.

I usually go with my friend to the campus café to have coffee and cookies in our break between classes. Some days we just have to intake the bitterest coffees to keep us alive and on our toes to keep up with the fast pace courses. Every time, we prefer to eat the similar cookies that we always do. She goes for chocolate bits oatmeal, and I go for the raisin oatmeal. Her’s are always too sweet, and she always ends up complaining. Mine are just right, balanced, and love ‘em! Although I disliked raisin, but developed a taste for it from then on. Although there’s a vast variety we can choose from, but today the café had a new kind added to their batch. Chocolate, coconut crumbs. Looked yummy, but both of us hesitated to pick it up. Another classmate joined us, and said hey try ‘em, they’re moist, chewy, not too sweet, just about right. So we did! Well, well! I didn’t like ‘em, cuz I dislike stuff with coconut. But thought, it wudn’t hurt for a change.
We ended up in a discussion of how variety could add a touch of spice to life, and keep things interactive, alive and outstanding. The small coffee talk took a very perceptive curve. In the end my friend topped off the topic with saying… “Yes, variety makes life worth while except cheating.” Classmate asked how, she responded, “cheating your loved ones," abusing your personal freedom by going after others when our cherished ones are not there at the moment. Though it was irrelevant to what we were talking about, however I liked what she said. She made sense. For she set a limit, a finite touch to the infinity that lies in variety.

Now enough of background details.

Here’s what I want to know what you all think of.
We always like to have a broad spectrum when it comes to choosing or picking things according to our taste, style, choice etc. I’ve discovered, that I would always go for something that I have relied on in past, and know it well enough in greater depth. Even while choosing outfits, when it comes to colours, I’d stick with the basics, which I feel comfortable wearing. I’d always go for navies, black, greys, soft earth tones, fall colours, deep dark natural colours; except anything outrageously radiant, and outstanding! Red, yellow, or Orange for instance I avoid big times. Not just in colors, but even music. My friend, she’d put on loud, screaming music on.. though they are nice but eeek I can’t stand it. Last time my cousin was just drooling over Crash and Burn By Savage Garden. When she shared the words with me, I liked ‘em, but when I heard it, I ran as faaaar away from the playing stereo.

I like light pop, not too noisy. Celine for instance is my favourite.
Now the question I have for you all, is that do you have a set personality of your own, or do you guys go for a wide range when it comes to variety. Is it hard for you to change your preference when its called for, or do you just stay who you are, and let none of the outside forces come your way. And how far are you willing to go when it comes to the word variety?
What type are you when it comes to preferences, anything unusual, or just simple and thankful, like everything… do you have a similar story up there and would you please share with us all.
