Does unwanted hair growth reduce with age?

So all the mummies and aunties have such smooth clear skins, many of them not doing anything.
While we are obsessed with removing them! Waxing, lasering, threading and what not!:frowning:
But mum says, the hair growth goes away with time on it’s own, heard that from many more.
I’v crossed my 25,i’m still as grizzly as i was in my teens,no change, still got to go through the regular ouch-sessions!
:cb:

so how true is it?

Re: Does unwanted hair growth reduce with age?

wait till you're 45.

Re: Does unwanted hair growth reduce with age?

yea,perhaps.
quiet a slow process.:humi:

Re: Does unwanted hair growth reduce with age?

Not really, it depends on your genes. If your mom doesnt have facial hair now but she did earlier in her life then thats good news for you :p

Did you go for any laser btw?

Re: Does unwanted hair growth reduce with age?

hmmm, yea genes ofcourse do matter :)
meant hair on body, like on arms, legs and all.
So i ask mum,was it always noooo hair on you at alll?
she says, yes, but with age they go away.
So i think i'll have to wait till i'm a 45.

i guess laser would be a good for some grizzly sites.
(no, not as grizzly as a gorilla:p)

Isn't it a fuss for married women,i always wonder?
Can't get away from the Constant grooming?
Unless they are lucky enough to be completely clear skinned,Oh they make me so Jalusss, plenty of my female cousins are chikna!! :/

Re: Does unwanted hair growth reduce with age?

My mom has never had to use a razor or any sort of hair removal in all of the years I've been alive. I don't know about before. She barely gets her brows done...she's always had smooth, soft and clear skin Mashallah.

No hair on her legs, arms, NOWHERE!

I have heard this from many people that hair growth slows down with age but I think it depends upon genes, hormones and it varies from person to person. My mom and grandmother never had any hair. I have very fine hair so its not that bad. However, I know people who tell me their hair got thicker and courser after childbirth. There's no formula for this in my opinion.

And another thing, if you have course hair that constantly needs to be waxed or threaded you should consider some sort of permanent hair removal. Its expensive but no more than weekly or bi-weekly sessions at a salon would be. Plus, you'll save your face from the breakouts and scars post breakouts.
