I know you did not mean to ask about those who travel everyday for a living 
I simply could not resist the temptation to be funny!
but to answer your question, I think traveling the World broadens ones outlook, because when you can see different cultures and different ways of life you become more open minded hence can get along with people at least on average better than someone who never traveled anywhere!
