oh mean you should come to the place i work at, its like a regular indian circus.
smell of daaal, and other crazy indian food every where at lunch time. every one except indians are at the cafeteria, these jokers bring food from home and make the whole place smell like some indian restaurant when then microwave it.
coconut oil every where. joggers on dress pants .....
and then that funny accent.
so may be its not a bad thing to have so many indians.... never ending comedy
Yeah the white joggers and shades of pants/shirts that make me think i am color blind don’t forget the underarm smell.
on a serious note yes its a big problem in IT sector. most of the times the HR is taking commission from contracting agencies and ends up hiring jokers claiming they are ‘having 5+ years of experience’ yet don’t know how to do simple programming coding etc.
All the cvs are ‘merged’ and one guy gives the technical interview and usually fails but tells to his buddies what sort of questions they ask. Sometimes they call their ‘mentor’ on phone to tell them how to write code!
Its become more like a workshop where chotay ko kaam pe laga do khudi seekh jaye ga.
References are all fake too
I’ve worked with people of different nationalities but this phenomena seems to be prevalent among only one!
Survival for the fittest.
Indians are high in the food chain when figuring out the system and know how to beat it or work with it depending on the situation.
If you lack that trait it is your own fault. Whining about it will not get you anywhere , cracking the code and work according to the requirements of the situation will help you succeed. So quit whining and do something to work with or beat the system you are up against.
Yeah thats what i've been think because hard work is not going to get me far i must learn to manipulate the system, lie on my cv about experience and education and look for loop holes.
I wonder if there are any courses i can take to learn these techniques instead of learning about work ethics and all that crap...
Mind you although its quite wide spread doesn't mean all people from india are doing it there are good, hard working, competent ppl just that few bad apples are trying to manipulate the system instead of working their way up.
please ppl, pakistanis are like 1/6 or 1/7 of the indian popluation in the world, so for everyjob that a pakistani applies to he has to fight it off with 7 indians (ok ok I am generalizing too) but please ppl do some constructive conversation here, this indoian-pakistani is taking focus off the topic.
