ofcourse they are allowed to work

maids, nannys for saudi kids, nurses, doctors, flight attendants, thats about it

but no driving, no volunteering, no cafe place etc.

Please excuse my ignorance…I admit I don’t know much about women’s daily lives in Saudi Arabia.

Are women not allowed to work at all? I thought there are certain jobs open to women?

What about volunterring? Are there organizations/hospitals/charities there where you could volunteer? I know housewives (here in the U.S. and 2 cousins “back home”) who volunteer several times a week just to get out of the house and interact with other adults (outside their family of course). It gives them a “break” from being at home in addition to giving them a sense of fulfillment since they’re doing something to help others.
