thinking is that the times are really hard for Muslim nations now, even as individuals living all over the world?
does anyone share this notion, that maybe muslims should not think of having more children, as they might become target of injustice and there will be a survival threat to them.

quite the opposite for me...i want a whole army of children for the sole purpose of increasing the population of muslims in this world grins
we all know that currently there are more jews in america then muslims but did you know that statistically the number of jews is decreasing and the number of muslims are increasing? why you ask? because jews are now marrying people of different faiths and therefore having kids that follow another religion or dont follow a religion at all. however many people are embracing islam which is why the number is increasing.
If we as muslims have more then 2.5 kids we are sure to have more muslims lving in americathen any other religion. Lets just pray that our children contribute to society positively Insha'Allah :)

theres more Muslims....cuz no1 can convert to the jewish religion and hence their numbers are decreasing with women marrying outta the religion...
apparently a jews mom has to be jewish in order for them to be jewish.....the religion is carried through the maternal line.....

i wonder why i feel this as some kind of real danger, even though i find much from our faith, promise of sustenance by Almighty, & strength in inspirational poetry by Rumi and Iqbal.
when i see the killing of a poor civilian in Kashimire, palestine and anywhere, they get caught in a civil war due to ploys of outsiders or in a fight for freedom battle, it saddens me so much, i cannot express it.
May Allah indeed give the believers and peaceful people great strength.

People can convery to Judaism. Only very Orthodox groups believe that there can’t be conversion.
But yes, you are right, there are more Muslims in the world than Jews. However, I think there are more Jews in America than Muslims – correct?

To be honest, I am a bit scared regarding what the future holds for my children, but I don't think that will stop me from having them.

You can play the "what-if..." game from now till the cows come home but in the end, this accomplishes exactly nothing. Live your life the way you want to, have your children, love and be happy. Live a good life, educate your children, help them grow into good citizens and you will have made your good mark on the world.

Dushwari.....only Allah knows the future....we should try to make the most of the present time we have....I know we should plan for the future....but i think there needs to be a limit to that.
the future can change so quickly...I mean the state of any nation can change at anytime.....you heard the saying "nations rise and fall" :)

In the Quran and the Old Testament, God repeatedly says that he will provide for everyone, you and your children. And he protects everyone who deserve to be protected. If God wills that no harm come to your children, no force on Earth can harm your children and if God wills the other way, no force on Earth can protect them. So in the end, you try to lead a righteous life and you leave the rest to God who is The Most Just.

i hope i can be positive about it.i feel that it is the end of time, coming.
look at lebenon, iran and plaestine. look at america's govt, giving green signal to israel to see how long the arabians and other muslims keep quiet to test their assertiveness or lack of it, I should say. that is height of malicious evil. yes, muslims are bad too. affluence and corruption and mis-judged trust
in all the wrong places, but within the ummah, brought them to where they are at today. & now they must do something concrete about it.
& so I pray these insensitive govts will have their consequences for their
nations, because law is the law and it should not be adjusted for anybody,
no matter how mighty.
so stacking up odds in favor of our people, but at the moment, looks so grim.
i have an irish professor who is a full bright fellow in cyprus - looking at the conflict mediation for turkish and cyprus communities' . she compared that with northern and southern ireland fights and national divides.
i wonder why policy makers all over the world - know this later, that they need to donate monies adn spend scholar's times in doing this sort of research, after their govts, have ripped and torn the social fabrics, destroyed the generations in each others' or one sides' state, culture and lives of civilians? does it have to do with the guilt and its compensating at the end of a mindless scheme to butcher the weak, the malleable and the ignorant?
plus, i think muslims must unite and fight this atrocity in unison. women and men must change their ways, and quickly to ensure the survival of our ethnicity.
i know that what may come, will come - and that we are not gods. but, the price we are paying at this time, with muslim blood being wasted and brutally spelt - we must do something to prevent it, hence my fears of muslim survival.
