I thought Karma was about saat janams and being born and again and again in different forms based on your actions…like if you were a bad human you’d born as a bear in next janam?

I think that may be the original idea but it’s quite popular in the west as there being a universal force which will reward you if you do good and will punish you if you do bad in the same life. I guess it’s a concept that has changed with time

If a person came back as a sacred cow that was fed and worshipped a lot was that person good or bad in a previous life?

Is it even possible to come back as a sacred cow? Aren’t they a form of deity? I don’t think that’s an option in reincarnation, you reincarnate from human to animal/insect but not into a ‘God’ as far as I know.
