Does swimming helps in weight loss

Re: Does swimming helps in weight loss

Swimming is very good for weight loss, and especially helpful if you have any pre-existing joint pain or back injuries. However, I’ve heard that swimming in cold water makes you very hungry afterwards, and the excessive eating can negate the work out so be mindful of this. Swimming in water that’s a mild temperature doesn’t have this effect.

I’ve never heard of this but even if it is true, I’m guessing the rule is to avoid water you can actually drink. I hardly think chlorinated water is safe for drinking, or that anyone would try.
