does silver change color?

i have a question :halo:

so like GOLD, if it makes contact with water and normal daily use soap, repeatedly, even if it a bit impure like 22K, doesn’t lose its original color

does SILVER change color if exposed to water and ur normal bath soap?

and also, pure gold is too malleable so they have to add impurities to make jewelry out of it…is pure silver also so malleable or is it possible to make jewelry out of pure silver?

thankU

Irem, dont ask how i know this, but,

  • Silver does change color, no matter how pure it is. And since you're living in karachi, silver will tarnish, no matter how careful you are with it. Particularly if you live in Clifton/Defence.

  • Silver jewellery is usually pure if bought from a decent jeweller, doesnt suffer from the same problem as gold.

Silver is like AN Arrow.

It is not malleable. It tarnishes, but it can be polished back to its original color within seconds.
