Sheer waste of time I can not agree more!
One drama that I am utterly outraged by watching is titled ‘Qudoosi Sahab Ki Bewah’. First of all, I do not understand the latest infatuation with names like ‘Mehmoodabad Ki Malkaaein’, ‘Ahmed Habib Ki Betiyaan’ and ofcourse, ‘Qudoosi Sahab Ki Bewah’. Cannot the people in charge come up with better, appealing names? Secondly, we know that Hina Dilpazeer is a talented actress but that does not mean we will enjoy her performing different roles in one badly executed play. I wonder if putting on a fake set of teeth and mocking old film heroines will do the actress any good.
First of all, the topic and story is completely vague, even for a comedy play. There are dialogues that are not fit for the certain ages and a few scenes are not appropriate for television audience! The plot revolves around a widow and her many daughters who would do anything to find their knight in shining armour. Their mother however, is looking for a bride for her only son who has looks and acts more like a girl. Her only daughter who is married is always seen having fights with her dwarf husband and badly pretends to be the actress Shabnam.
I wonder what point is to be proved with this play; comic get ups will not tickle anybody’s funny bones and the horrible acting, bad plot and execution will end up defaming the leading lady. Recently, new characters have been added to the show, all of whom are being played by Miss Dilpazeer of course but I make sure not to stop even momentarily on the channel.
