He was the leader of the PPP in the elections.

Common sense - when the party wins, the leader will take office.

But as I said in previous posts, **even a PPP supporter like me hopes they lose the next national elections **so real PPP leaders like Aitazaz Ehsan, Raza Rabbani lead again.

We are going off topic but must say:

Even PPP supporters did not expect /wish him to be the president. He came through backdoor and was ‘selected’ by few powerful to this position.

Does anyone think the party would have won if it was revealed beforehand that he would be the president selected by the party?
