This can't be true. Ramiz Raja, CEO of PCB and Sarfraz Nawaz are like George Bush and UBL. This will not happen. Times of India can kiss my behind.

The News of Jang also reported this yesterday.
What FG is presumably saying is that while Miandad may have said it (as reported by news media) but Ramiz won't let it happen.
ps. And FG, the globally accepted acronym for Osama is OBL. Pls don't malign United Bank Limited.

And Ramiz would be right.
Ok this Coaching discussion is going nowhere.
Every one in Pakistani Management has a problem with one senior bowler or another, hence they will never agree on any particular individual. (IMHO).
So lets look at it from a different prespective.
Why dont the 3 S's take the initative and approach the senior of their choice and request guidance, tips, ideas, advice and moral support.
This will most probably make the competition even stronger, every senior will want his pupil to come out on top, and hence they will be more dilligent and make them work on the real issues of the pupil they are guiding.
I know it may sound stupid to the Pakistani Fans here, but seriously think about it, it will solve all the red tape problems, at the same time achive the results the 3 S's are longing for.

Janab yeh too aap ki zarra nawazi hai
And the circus continues. Someone tape Miandad’s mouth … and arms. oh what the heck, just lock him in the basement.
**Miandad’s suggestions on bowling coach irk PCB **
From Waheed Khan
MULTAN: Pakistan coach Javed Miandad’s suggestion that former Test bowler Sarfraz Nawaz be appointed as bowling coach has rubbed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) the wrong way with key officials clearly unhappy on Wednesday. It was obvious that neither Chief Executive Rameez Raja nor General Manager Cricket Operations Zakir Khan were happy with Miandad’s statement since Sarfraz Nawaz is not a very popular figure in the Board. “Rameez was surprised to read about Miandad’s suggestion favouring Sarfraz because the former fast bowler has also been very critical about him (Miandad) in recent times as Pakistan coach,” a Board source said.
However, a source close to Miandad disclosed that his statement was not meant to say that Sarfraz be appointed as bowling coach.
Another source also pointed out that it could be Miandad’s way of getting even with former captain Imran Khan who had been criticizing him a lot on television in the series. “Perhaps Miandad wanted to pinch Imran who was very upset on Wednesday after reading about Miandad’s suggestion and aired his views on television,” he said.
The source said Miandad would be making his position clear to the board after the Test match in Multan
As I discussed earlier,It is all politics. It is cheap. Its like “Dushman ka dushman dost hota hai”
Has anyone from the media asked Miandad how come he's changed his tune about not needing a bowling coach? And yes, f&b is absolutely right, this sort of cheap politics is something our cricket could do without.
So who has been bashing Wasim Akram in this thread? Did anyone tell you people that I have left GS :soldier:

Team requires “qualified” coaches not the ex heroes of Pakistan.
Would you trust yr broken leg to an ex patient then the Dr ?
This is how I see this..
Miandad - Greatest player (Does not know how to talk or when to zip it)
Rashid latif - Excellent keeper ( has no idea what to do nxt:konfused:
Sarfaraz- Great bowler P ever had ( Lost his directions to many khotas)
Imran Khan- Excellent all rounder (different periorities now)
Inzi - Great natural stroke player ( Not a leader brand)
Moin khan- spirited beyond compare ( good for club cricket)
Mushi - Our best of braves (Lost in the citi of PCB atlantis, manhoos selectors)
Saqi - Our best (after 11 lashes selector ki manhoos nazar kha gye)
Afridi - Courage and bat combination “khabi haan, khaabi naa”
on n on n on n on ,
Team requires “qualified” coaches not the ex heroes of Pakistan.

Wasim Akram chaye
aur khuch bhi nahi chlalay ga ![]()
kia karo gai Wasim Akram ka bhai?
Imran wants bowling coach to sort out "no-balls" and "wides" problem :S. Imran is the one who says that coach should let fast bowlers bowl wides and noballs, and the focus should be on taking wickets. I see big big conflict in his statements.

Well the potential behind this statment seems to be to entice bowlers to experiment with the conditions of the time to either get break throughs or to contain the scoring rate. Yes ! it sounds wierd but , some times it worked to let lose ( Typical of Imran)....and it paid off many times..
Wickets in sub continents are mostly flat and dry. to get bounce and
swings, you realy have to hit the deck hard and with some respectful speed as well, otherwise the bowler gets hit all over the ground.
2ndly , Imran new his arsenal well and this statement was an open invitation to say the least "guys ! go out there and give the best you got. worry about no balls and wides later.
Imran had a scheming head ,, same can not be expected from Inzi or Miandad. niether any one else that I saw on the lineup so far....
Remember ! Imran made this statement while on tour in Australia where the conditions were Ideal for such an experiment.
He knows conditions in Pakistan and favours the spinners power....
