please share what made u put a certain item on ur list for a potential mate and spouse?

did u create a list such as this and how long is/was it?

what sort of qualities u were looking for?

& did u successfully find them items from ur list, in ur spouse?

personally i hated the idea of making that list, even metaphoricaly (sp?) but .. ainnnhhhh shakes shoulders everyone does that in one way or the other, expectations dont have to be in written form…

my list wasnt that long :

  • caring/loving (believe it or not, THIS has always been on top of my list)
  • focused (doesnt get distracted from incidents of life)
  • determined (life has its ups and downs, if she was working AND she balanced her life around me AND her family, that tells that if a person can do all this, can raise a VERY good family)

yes i did find them in her. WHAT made me make this kinda list? :konfused: i dunno i guess at one point in life, u get upset from all the loneliness around u, and u end up thinking weird thoughts, random thoughts, just-to-keep-u-busy thoughts, and somewhere down THAT phase, i guess i made that list..

I would not make a list even if it impresses girls, like faizy .
Every person in this world has some good and bad. nothing can change their nature. yet we choose what seems good for us :)

There is no reason to make a list. I guess there are certain sets of criteria that everyone has in mind such as loving, caring, good personality, looks etc. Its sometimes difficult to find one that has everything you are looking for so you may have to compromize based on what's more important to you. Otherwise if you're patient and lucky, you find the exact match.

Everyone has a hidden list in the back of their head. It's always good to know yourself. Ironically, the list becomes shorter as you grow older. It shifts from physical features to personality traits...till you reach a point when you say Koi bhi insaan ka bacha chalay ga.

lol haha.. fayz said it haha… looking back to when i was 16 my list was huge… then i got into the whole rishta process and it started to shrink… now at 25 and after having met lots of potential rishtas… im still not ready to say “koi bhi SHAREEF insaan ka bacha chalega :D” but that point isnt so far away :omg: ..

If you make a list sooner or later you're going to find out your wife doesn't have all the qualities. You're going to go nuts afterwards.

You don't make a list and marry a girl and her flaws. You learn to accept them and turn those flaws into blessings in your marriage.

all it takes 3 meetings.....once u judge on looks solely....when u get ovver that. u hear voice...and if u can live with that u get her input...ohh yeah b4 u waste any time... u ask her in meeting number if shes interested...otherwise u wasted a good a week, you could have been @ ur local strip club throwing quaters and being a total jerk

making a list of the qualities you want in a man/woman is useless. We all know that we wont find a spouse that has everything we want because that would be called perfect and there is no such thing as a perfect person.

everyone has good and bad qualities in em, you have to compromise, if you want a person that fits your list or image in your head then good luck looking/finding that person.
