Does meat go off?

I have some meat sitting in my freezer since nearly 9-12 months…does it go off?

How do I know its gone off?

I dont know if it is contaminated but it must have turned into juiceless ligaments, which means you will be wasting your time and energy in cooking it.

You should consume frozen food/meat within 3 months so throw it away.

ohhh dear ... 12 months ? i wouldnt risk eating it at all ... like hareem said , throw it away ....
