make a big difference to ur look if ur eyebrows stay messy OR u shaped them urself?..how long would u go without getting ur eyebrows shaped professionally?

they do look messy for a while...i needed to grow mine because i didnt like the shape...i let them grow for 2 months...i didnt give a c*** what people thought...i just grew them

My eyebrows get out of shape very fast. I get them done every week-2 weeks.

My eye brows were sooooo prefect, i grew them out for like two months before my birthday this february... and than i got them done two weeks ago... and the girl that did them messed up the shape... now i'm trying to grow mine out again... and i look like Bert from Sesame st!

i dont like my eyebrows to be so sharp and edged all the time.so sumtimes i keep them a bit broad but not messy and whn i get bored i get them thin again

I like thick eye brows not messy and I usually go without getting my eye brows shaped like for 3 weeks and shape is not like so thin I don't really want to change my face features, I just get them shaped for the neatness.

i do them at home, every 4-5 days. im not gonna go to a salon and pay like £7 per eyebrow. ridiculous...

I get mine done every 3 weeksish. the longest I have been without having them done is probably about 3 months.....I just tidied the middle bit at home.

It is quite expensive here in the UK. The regular place I go to charges £5.50 for tidy up and £8.50 for reshape.

There are some desi places - mostly do it from home and they do threading but I just don't trust them......

lol! i took my cuz to the place my best friend goes yesterday. £10 :X but the woman did an amazing job and she really needed someone who understands her brows!

i'm lucky in that my brows have a natural shape, i was always too scared to touch them in the past but then i started tidying up the stray hairs below and at the ends and they look much better. ok, they are not as polished looking as most girls have but i hardly have to do any maintenance. i will prob just get them tidied up once professionally before my wedding to define the arch a bit more.

Whenever I go to the salon I always end up with the same look.

I really fancy going a lot thinner but I can't explain to the goree there how I mean. I was watching some show on Sony yesterday and I really fancy the indian style of totally neat brows....

I have above the brow waxed too, but they say that this shouldn't be done??
Apparetnyl it's only asians who get it done.

lol, yea i think it's only asians/middle eastern women that do the top too. but that's coz we have more hair! in general they think that the brow 'structure' comes from the top, so that you shouldn't touch that.
i don't think they would be able to do what you want. but i'm sure you can find an asian woman who is experienced. where 'bouts to you live?

It makes a difference. Well shaped eyebrows can do wonders for a face, but I've to be honest, I dont shape mine. I had a friend doing it once and she made them thin according to me and I didnt like even if everyone said it looked great. I like MY eyebrows to be a bit thick.. I dont know why .. but on others I really like the thin shape hehe ... Here you can have ur eyebrows shaped for abt £5 .. they do it with the cord .. threading way

eugh you should see my eyebrows right now :smiley: I have little pricklies coming out underneath the shape of them :omg: I haven’t been going out much so I don’t really care. I’ll do them next time I go out for shopping or something. :snooty:

I don't wear makeup on a daily basis (most customers are old..they prob can't even see my face) so i pay extra attn to eyebrows...i love neat eyebrows

i get them done and then once they start growing back a little i just pluck those hairs out and this way i go months without having to go to the saloon however knowing me i do once every two weeks.
