its a common belief that if you do good, good will come to you. especially when it comes to marriages, most people would say make sure your on the right track , because if you are you life partner will be as well…really?
You still need to be smart and resourceful and can greatly increase your chances of getting good in life. Educate yourself, look after your physique and appearance and look after your mental well being.
It does for some but I think they are a minority. Personally I have found this statement to be untrue, heck sometimes it feels like the nicer you are, the more horrible people come your way.
So it does not come back from the same person but it comes back somehow is my observation. Good people usually end up good. We know this really nice Kacchi lady, she was an imported bride, hubby abused her, she got divorced but the govt took really good care of her, they gave her a brand new apartment and decent welfare. She is very social and friendly and has friends all over who cater to her, my wife went to vancouver with her and her friends kept them in their house and were very hospitable cooking parathas and stuff. So this lady ended up living a great life. Goodness somehow attracts goodness.
She lives on welfare? How is that a great life? It is good if you compare it to her abusive husband life but it’s still not really good let alone great.
I guess ‘goodness’ too is a matter of perspective then.
She gets money deposited to her account directly for over 25 years, lives in a brand new appt, has scores of friends goes out to her friends places every week and looks and acts really happy. I never see a worry on her face. She is very close to us so we know her really well. I dont know her husband so couldn’t tell you but she gets enough to satisfy her needs and also travels. Most of the people here on welfare don’t seem to feel bad about it, they feel entitled.
In the other thread you’re trying to prove that not being career-oriented is terrible and here you’re telling me that being on welfare is good.
I have no idea whether I’m confused or you are.
