Honestly, I could never be with a guy shorter than me. I want my man to look and feel like a man! Not a feeble, short little thing. I'm 5,6" and hubby darling is 6,2" and we're perfect for each other, AH!

I know of two females who rejected rishtas because the guy was shorter than them!

depends on the girl

I am 5 ft 3 ish so a guy shorter would just be reallllllllllllllllllly short and I wouldnt be sexually attracted to him.

for me height and body > face

I'm in that situation and I definitely don't want to be the superficial girl that goes around rejecting guys becuase of their looks. especially when all other qualities are perfect!

Men are 4-5 inches taller than their statistical equivalents. (not average)
It makes perfect sense that women want a man who is few inches taller.
It also makes it understandable that couples where women are taller would look a bit awkward.

THe statistical equivalent of a 5'6" woman would be a 5'11" - 6' guy
for a 5'4" woman would be a 5'9" guy
for a 5'1" woman would be a 5'5" man and so on.

the problem arises when one gender begins to value height much more than the other. when 5'2" inch women only want a guy who is atleast 5"10".

-A lot of shorter guys are only short in the legs -- their torsos are normal-sized, so laying down, it's all good! It's the horizontal fit that matters most...;)

I don't have a problem.
I've dated girls taller than me and never felt weird about it.
Although you do get *the look *​from some people.

My fiance's about a cm shorter than me when i wear heels , which i usually do ..... im 5"7 so is he ... it's never been an issue to us , i would still be with him if he was 5 cm shorter than me ,
i find tall lanky men annoying plus meri jaans really buff so that keeps me happy with his overall physique :)
