sad, but i guess every good things need some effort n strength n patience,yes they suffered a lot , went through lot of pain, lost their loved one,lots n lots of struggle but the end result was their own independent country( forget about present day situation) but still all these pain n suffereings resulted in better lifestyle for their coming generations, they would have suffered more if there was no partition.

First you said " forget about present day situation" - then you said “all these pain n sufferings resulted in better lifestyle for their coming generations” . Such contradiction
